Portraits of Nature
Portraits of Nature is a body of work that explores the idea of identity, individuality and uniqueness. In this series, I took elements from nature and extracted them from their natural environment allowing complete focus on the subject matter through the use of isolation. I gave each element their specific names to infer identity, which implies a sense of individuality amongst the group. These photographs are highly detailed to accentuate the characteristics of each object that suggests the notion of being unique.
